EQ joint system is based on the introduction of technology from Germany and Japan, and in both countries KS D 3595 (Light gauge stainless steel pipes for ordinary piping) has been used for a longtime. SAS 352 as its joint is used in water supply and heating. In Korea KS B 1547 (general stainless steel piping press-type joint) is used in various fields.

Water pipe used for drinking water in conventional buildings have a short lifetime due to scaling and corrosion, and have been a major problem causing the aging of a building. However, EQ joints are stainless steel products with corrosion resistance superior to other steel pipes for their thermal efficiency compared to PVC based hoses when used for heating coils and can save costs for heating.

The EQ joint is an advanced piping material capable of maintaining water pressure the sufficient connection strength achieved by simultaneous pressing of the pipe ad the fitting in a hexagonal or a circular shape and the compressive deformation of a rubber ring (EPDM).
